Titan Cable Snow Tire Chain Installation - 2015 Honda Accord- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Honda Accord we're going to be looking at Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire chains, and that's Part Number TC1034. These tire chains are in compliance with SAE Class S requirements which basically just means that they've got a low profile design so they'll fit well in wheel wells with limited clearance, and it's not going to cause any interference.These chains feature a ladder pattern with a steel roller design which makes it effective for starting and stopping in light snow and ice. These chains are going to best for occasional use such as for an emergency or just to be compliant with the local laws.To install these chains we're first going to unroll them and inspect them to make sure there's no breaks in the chains or anything that would compromise the integrity of the chains. When we unroll them we're going to make sure that our end hooks are facing the front of the car.For our Honda Accord we're going to only install them on the front two tires. When we lay out our chains we want to make sure that these cross hooks are facing up so that they don't do any damage to our tires. There is an imprinted mark on the back that says tire side, so be sure that is facing down.To install these chains it's always a good idea to wear gloves so you don't scrape up your hands. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2011 Honda Accord- Video
Today on our 2011 Honda Accord we're going to review and install the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains, part number PW1034. Now, here's what our tire chain is going to look like once it is installed. One of the really nice features about our tire chain is the low profile design for middle of wheel clearances and it'll offer us a nice quiet and smooth ride. The tire chain itself is DOT compliant in all fifty states. To begin our install we're going to start with our tire chain laid out. Here on one end of our snow tire chains we'll have our hook that the adjustable cable will fit through. Then, any excess cable can be held by the two prong outer cable. more

Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chains Review - 2014 Honda Accord- Video
Today on our 2014 Honda Accord, we're going to review an install, the Glacier Cable Snow Tire Chain, Part Number PW1038. This will be on tire size P20560R16. These tire chains also make all 50 state DUT requirements making the perfect option to have in your vehicle for those emergency situations. We're going to start with our tire chain laid out here on the floor. Here on one end, we've got our cable notches for feeding the adjustable cable through and locking into position. Once it's fed through, any excess cable can then be held by the cable keeper. Here's a quick idea of what that's going to look like. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2014 Honda Accord- Video
Today on our 2014 Honda Accord we're going to review and install the Glacier square-link snow tire chains, part number PWPLC1138, on tire size P205/65R16. Now to begin our install we've gone ahead and laid out our tire chains here on the floor. Now our tire chain on one end is going to have these open links both inside and outside chain for adjustability. Our crosschain that goes across our tread tire is made of a low carbon steel, and it's in our d-link shape to provide superior traction on snow and ice. These are even applicable for off-road use. At the end of each crosschain will be a hook. more

Glacier Square-Link Snow Tire Chains Review - 2008 Honda Accord- Video
Today on this 2008 Honda Accord, we're going to install part number pwplc1142. This is the Glacier Square Link, Snow Tire Chains. For reference we're working with a tire size of T235 by 45 by R18. Okay, now it's always a good idea to go ahead and try out your chains and get familiar with them before you actually need to use them in the ice and snow, like we're doing here. First off we'll go ahead and point out what side faces the ice and snow.If we take a look at the crossbars here and where they connect at the end, you can see how this link goes over, there's two points. These points always face towards the ice and snow. more

Thule CS10 Snow Tire Chains Review - 2008 Honda Accord- Video
Today, in the 2008 Honda Accord, we're going to install part number TH00204102. This a Thule Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains with a diamond pattern and D Links. For reference, we're working with a tire size of P235 x 45 R18. It is a good idea to start off your chains in a practice run like we're doing here, to be familiar with them when the time comes to need them in the ice and snow. First off, it's a good idea to lay out one side of the chains here. The part number comes with 2 tire chains. We're working on the passenger side, today. It's a good idea to go ahead and lay out the snow chains to make sure you get any tangles out of it. more

Today on our 2013 Honda Accord, we'll be test fitting the Glacier square link snow tire chains, part number PWPLC1138. We'll be test fitting these tire chains on tire size 205/65/16. To begin our test fit, we'll lay the chain flat out on the ground to undo any kinks or tangles. This will ensure that the tire chain will fit correctly around the tire. Now for today's demonstration, our vehicle is on a lift to show you the connection points in a little bit more detail. We'll now drape the tire chains over the tire, making sure they are centered and the hooks are facing out so that we don't damage the outer wall of the tire. more
